I’m Sallyanne,

Mum of three and lover of Mother Earth, I founded Holistic Kitchen after witnessing the power of natural essential oils first as a holistic massage therapist and then as a mother.

Why I love what I do?

It makes me so happy knowing that my products have helped so many people. The power of scent is amazing!

Anxiety, stress, burnout, anger and sadness… Life can be a lot. Thankfully, Mother Earth has the medicine we need – the power of essential oils – and I’ve been able to harness it for you to experience and enjoy.

How did you start out?

I started making essential oil blends at my kitchen table as a hobby and selling them to friends and family.

BODY – Add 7-10 drops to 30ml of carrier oil, such as fractionated coconut oil, and massage your bump and body.
MIND – By using essential oils in your bath, you inhale the oils whilst the warm water evaporates them. Add 5-7 drops to warm running water or as an alternative, add 5 drops to 15ml of carrier oil for a nourishing soak. (take care when getting out as this may leave the bath a little slippery). Have this blend with you during your labour, and use it to help you focus through each contraction. Also, great for after baby has arrived, to help balance your hormones.
SOUL – Surround yourself with this blend in your room by adding 5-10 drops to an aroma diffuser or oil burner. This is perfect if you are planning a home birth or can use an aroma diffuser in the labour room to diffuse the oils. Inhalation of this blend is one of the best ways to benefit from its wonderful properties too, so add some drops to a warm flannel and inhale through your contractions.
